Current status
All six new AILP professional certifications are in development. Approved assessment rules, passing scores, retake rules, appeal procedures, and renewal policies have not yet been established.
Requirements before launch
Each program must publish its eligibility, curriculum, assessment format, completion requirements, and issuance rules. A professional certification cannot be issued solely because someone paid or viewed lessons.
Credential records
Future issuance and revocation must be supported by an authorized record and an audit trail. Public verification should show only the minimum credential information and its valid, expired, or revoked status. Contact information, payments, and assessment records must remain private.
Historical records
Previously issued certificates retain their original issuer and terms. Rebranding does not automatically convert a course completion certificate into a new professional certification.
